Academics and Sports Program: It is one method of addressing the third aim of Scouting:
the development of physical, mental and emotional fitness. This program is optional and is not a normal requirements
towards ranks, except where used in obtaining Webelos activity badges and Wolf Elective 20 (Sports). Its purpose help in learning

When deciding what Belt Loops to do, it may be helpful to know that the Webelos rank requirments include an option to
complete belt loops while a Webelos. See Webelos requirements.
Belt Loops included in Webelos Activity requirements: Aquanaut – Swim belt loop; Athlete –
Physical Fitness Pin; Sportsman – 2 individual sports belt loops and 2 team sports belt loops; Art

Traveler – Geography, Map & Compass belt loop; Citizen – Citizenship belt loop; Communicator

World Conservation Award: The World Conservation Award provides an opportunity for individual
Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, and Venturers to "think globally" and "act locally" to preserve and improve our environment.

Boy Scout (Webelos) Trail Award: Designed to assist Webelos becoming Boy Scouts. Webelos
attend a Troop's Court of Honor, visit a Troop at Yawgoog summer camp, do 2 hours of community service, and earn 2 activity
badges (above Arrow of Light requirements). In the first 6 months when he becomes a Boy Scout, he must be active, attend
3 outdoor events, and earn Tenderfoot.
