Purchase uniforms at the West Bay Scout Shop
located in the Summit Square/Staples Plaza (behind Chili's) on Route 2 in Warwick. Call store to confirm hours (Mon-Sat
10AM-9:30PM and Sunday noon-6PM). Call 821-7005 to confirm times. Or visit www.scoutstuff.org to see the vast amount of scouting items for sale (good holiday gift ideas). You may call 1-800-323-0736 24-hours a
day to order a catalog or items.
A detailed shopping list
for Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos scouts is shown below. There may be a limited number of gently used shirts available
from the cubmaster. Parents are asked to help us by passing down their blue uniforms when cubs crossover to Webelos.
Cub Scout Caps: The Pack 66 caps are available at Pack meetings for $15 and can be used by the Cub Scout
throught the years, untill crossing over to Boy Scouts. Parents will save over $30 of having to purchase a new
hat every year for each scout level (Tiger, Wolf, Bear and Weblos). Hats are available for both the kids and parents
too. Parents
may also wish to purchase the Pack 66 golf shirt.
Cub
Scout Belt: The Cub Scout and Webelos belt buckle will fit either the blue or olive belt, but Cub Scout
Academics and Sports Belt Loop recognitions will only fit the blue belt. Therefore, Pack 66 recommends only
purchasing the blue belt.
Cub
Scout Pants/Shorts: The regulation blue or khaki (tan) pants or shorts are optional purchase requirements
for Cub Scouts. If the regulation pants are not purchased, Pack 66 recommends that Cub Scouts wear either blue
jeans or khaki (tan) pants with belt loops, so the Cub Scout Belt can be worn to Pack Meetings and formal Scouting events.
Cub
Scouts Handbooks: Parents are the Cub Scouts Akela (mentor), so the age appropriate handbook must be
purchased for each scout for every level of Scouting. The Akela and Den Leader are required to sign off on each achievement
as the boy progresses through the particular level.
Patch
Vest: By the end of the Tiger year, the Cub Scout will start to accumulate patches that
do not get sewn to the regulation uniform. Pack 66 recommends either purchasing ($14.99 @ Scout Store) or making the
red felt patch vest (ask Tiger Den Leader for sample/pattern). This is a special article of clothing that allows
the Cub Scout to show off special achievements or events that he has participated in.
Weblos
Uniform: Boys Scouts of America (BSA) allows the Weblos to choose to continue
to wear either the Cub Scout blue uniform or the Boy Scout khaki (tan) uniform. Weblos is a transitional
stage between Cub Scouts and Boys Scouts, the Khaki (tan) uniform helps distinguish the Weblos from the rest of the pack.
To maintain uniformity within Pack 66, Weblos are recommended to upgrade their uniforms to the Boy
Scout khaki (tan) uniform.
For the khaki (tan) uniform, Weblos will also need the blue shoulder
loops. The Scout World Crest emblem, Narragansett Council patch and Pack "66" patches may be purchased new, as noted
on the price list below or may removed and reused from the boys old blue Cub Scout uniform.
Leaders are expected to also purchase a uniform or at least purchase a Pack 66 golf shirt and Pack 66 hat.

UNIFORM INSIGNIA PLACEMENT
Where do I put these patches?? The Cub Scouts provides diagrams for insignia and patch placement. These
are located in the handbooks and on-line. Click on the diagrams to get the larger image. Diagrams for leader uniforms
