Rally Cub Recruitment Night

Pack 66 Popcorn Annual Fundraiser
All Pack 66 cubs must participate

Time: Sign-up for at least one 2-hour period
Cost: This fundraiser will help pay for nearly everything that Pack 66 does

Details: See Popcorn Page.  This is our one fundraiser for the year and pays for all your boy's badges, books, Pack meeting snacks, and more. Please participated by signing-up for at least one 2-hour period during one of the weekends. Please also sell popcorn at home to your friends & relatives (prizes for those cubs who sell). Mom & Me - Adventure Weekend Campout
Narragansett Council event for all Cub Scouts.

Cost: $100 per parent/cub team ($50/extra cub) due with registration.  Checks payable to Narragansett Council or pay online.
Place: Cub World, Pascoag, RI
Details: Enjoy fishing, hiking, archery, BB shooting, crafts, games, and a campfire. Bring your pole & the worms will be supplied. Cub World is a modern facility with running water and flushing toilets designed specifically for Cub Scouts.  Your camping experience takes place in one of the three theme areas: Wild West, High Seas, or Medieval Castle.  All meals are served in a modern dining hall and prepared by qualified culinary professionals.  Camp fee includes dinner/dessert, Sunday breakfast, crafts, patch, and lots of fun.  For more information and registration form go to http://www.narragansettbsa.org/.  See www.cubworld.org/

Narragansett Council event for new Tiger Cub Scouts.

Place: Camp Champlin, Cranston, RI                                                     Details: This is a great opportunity for an outdoor experience for our newest Scouts, and their families. Parents have the opportunity to meet adults who have been involved in the program, to find out about all the great things Scouting will provide for their Scout, as well as opportunities to get involved in Scouting. Details: Scouts must be in their uniform and ready to walk.  Wear your Cub Scout uniform with pride today.  This is our time to show appreciation for the veterans who have paid the price for freedom.  Please be respectful and look sharp. Meet behind SK High School to line up at time above.  Parade goes down School Street, Holley Road, Main Street, and High Street to the Veterans' Memorial Park.  Please pick up your child at the basketball court

Wildlife Conservation Pin & Belt Loop

Place: Roger Williams Zoo and Buttonwood Park Zoo
Details: Earn your Wildlife Conservation awards. Register asap. This is a great opportunity for Cub Scouts of all ages to earn their Wildlife Conservation Pin and Belt loop. At the conclusion of the day each Scout will be awarded their Pin and Belt loop in front of all those in attendance, so they leave with their awards. This event is for a Scout and an adult chaperone, siblings and other adults can not attend the sessions due to limited space. Guest and family members who would like to attend to see their Scout receive their award will be able to purchase tickets at the group rate at Roger Williams Zoo the day of the event.

Museum of Science, Mystic Aquarium, Providence Children's Museum Sleepovers
All Cub Scouts
Dates: Various dates in January, February, March and April 2010                Time: 6:00PM–7:30 AM, Overnight sleepover adventure
Cost: $55 per parent/scout team 
Place: Mystic Aquarium, CT, Boston Museum of Science, Providence Children's Museum
Details:  Ever wonder what the aquarium animals do at night?  Bring your sleeping bag, pillow and a flashlight for an overnight adventure in an underwater world to find out.  We?ll play games, tour the exhibits, enjoy snacks and have the Aquarium all to ourselves! Then pick a place to sleep next to the graceful rays, schooling fish or circling sharks. This program is open to Scouts and siblings of Scout age (7-10 years old). This includes a snack and breakfast

An overnight at the Museum of Science  and Children's Museum is a special program that inspires children to discover science in fun and educational ways. This manual of ideas and suggestions, many of which are offered by previous attendees, should help you prepare for a great overnight experience. Before your visit, plan ahead: get plenty of rest, practice sleeping on the floor, and try to remember how much fun slumber parties used to be.

Bowl-a-thon

Cost:  Free for cubs (get pledges from family & friends for Scouting)
Place: Old Mountain Lanes, 756 Kingstown Road near Benny's
Details: Help raise funds for the Pack and the Boy Scouts. Have fun and see who knocks down the most pins and can raise the most money. Come early to get shoes and a lane. Pledge sheets will be handed out during the February Pack Meeting. Please go to family and friends to obtain donations to benefit Pack 66 and scouting. Dontations can be for the total amount (ie. $20) or per pin amount. Each scout will bowl two games and his score posted. Bring pledge sheet with donations to the Bowl-a-thon, if possible.

Pack Meeting & Spring Campout
Date & Time: Friday, June 3rd through Sunday, June 5th.  Meet @ 6:00 to set up camp on Friday before Pack meeting.  The Pack meeting will start @ 7:00 pm on Friday night for those who can not attend the camping portion of the weekend.

Details: Last Pack Meeting of the year blow out!  Cross Over to the next level of scouting.  Final award ceremony of the year.  Fun and games!  Campout!!!  Bring your tent.  Games and activities all day Saturday. Campfire and songs on Saturday night. Fishing if you want to bring your pole. No electronic devices (radios, games, etc.) Basic Camping Gear List for Weekend Campouts.

Pawsox Baseball Scout Event - Sleepover on the field
All Cub Scouts and Parent invited.
Date: TBD
Time: Arrive before 2:00 for Pawsox Clinic with glove & new baseball (autographs).  Leave 8:00 the next morning.  Game starts at 6:05. 
Cost: $55 per cub/parent team ($27.50 addtional persons) 
Place: McCoy Stadium, Pawtucket, RI
Details:
Pictures.  Bring your glove, new baseball for autographs, sleeping bag and tent. Get autographs. Watch the game.  Get a free hot dog, soda, and chips. Sleep on the field. See

Aquapaug Summer Day Camp
Cubs spend a week having great scouting fun.

Cost: TBD.  Pay Narragansett Council directly.
Camperships are available to pay for cost so that all cubs can go - talk to cubmaster. All camp t-shirts must be ordered by June 1st (extras available so you can wash one).
Place: Camp Aquapaug, Ministerial Road, South Kingstown.
Who: Cub Scouts entering grades 2, 3, 4 and 5 in the fall of 2010.
Parent Volunteers Needed: Guaranteed fun week. Younger siblings can also come and enjoy a separate program just for them at a nominal cost of TBA.
More Information and Registration Form: See brochure. A Class 1 Medical form and Parental Release form are required. Day camp includes age appropriate activities (archery & BB instruction, nature, sports, crafts, games and scout skills).

Cub World Overnight Camp
Cubs spend three-days, two-nights at Cub World resident camp.
